Neilson Associates, Inc. (NAI) is a Woman-owned small business consulting firm dedicated to quality, on-time service at a fair cost and in a friendly and professional manner. Many of our professional staff have over 25 years experience in all aspects of environmental and occupational sciences and hold numerous environmentally-related certifications. Our consultants' ranges of expertise include, but are not limited to, environmental engineering (including all three phases of environmental site assessments/audits), soil/civil engineering, industrial hygiene, geology, hydrology, hydro geology, biology, identification and delineation of wetlands, underground storage tank investigations and remediations, soil and hazardous waste landfill investigation and minimization, wastewater treatment, asbestos and lead-based paint surveys and remediation programs, and monitoring, radon surveys, toxicology, epidemiology, architecture and engineering, occupational health and safety and expert witness testimony.

NAI's staff are members of such well-known organization as the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, the World Safety Organization, the Health Physics Society, the American Academy of Environmental Engineers, the American Board of Toxicology, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, the American Chemical Society, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Consulting Engineers Council, the American Institute of Professional Geologists, the American Institute of Hydrology and the Association of Ground Water Scientists and Engineers. 

NAI has received many commendations for the preparation and review of project specifications and project management from both the government and private sector. Neilson Associates Incorporated is proud of our nationwide service base many of whom it has served for more than 20 years, an important and prized reflection to us of the quality service we provide.

The President of Neilson Associates, Inc. is Brenda Neilson Hansen, a Registered Environmental Assessor and Environmental Professional. Mrs. Hansen has been with Neilson Associates, Inc. since 1986.  Mrs. Hansen holds numerous degrees and accreditations in environmental compliance and occupational health and safety.  

The Vice President of Neilson Associates, Inc. is Arthur Neilson, a Certified Safety Engineer and Safety Professional, a Registered Environmental Assessor and Environmental Professional.  Mr. Neilson is the founder of Neilson Associates, Inc.  As a result of Mr. Neilson's involvement with most of the major Asbestos Manufacturers during the 1960's through the 1980's, Neilson Associates, Inc. has gained an enviable knowledge bank of control, management and abatement of asbestos concerns.  Mr. Neilson possesses many degrees and accreditations in environmental compliance and occupational health and safety.

Mrs. Hansen as well as all of the other highly qualified NAI staff members have made it their top priority to provide outstanding services on an on-time basis and at fair costs.
